If your question isn't covered below, please send me an email at hellbendersteelworks@gmail.com.

1) What is a Hellbender?
The southern Appalachian Mountains have the highest salamander diversity in the world. One of these salamanders is the Hellbender, a threatened species that can reach up to 2 feet in length, making it the largest salamander in North America! Despite their appearance, Hellbenders are harmless and play a vital role in maintaining the health of the streams they inhabit.
2. Do you ship internationally?
It depends. If you are outside of the U.S. and would like to purchase a blade, please send me an email before purchasing and we can evaluate your country-specific policies for shipping knives. For international orders, the buyer assumes all responsibility for any issues that may arise during shipping and I offer no guarantees. Please note that all international sales are final; I do not provide refunds, nor do I accept returns or exchanges for items shipped outside the United States.
3. How do I take care of a high carbon steel blade?
Please see our care guide.

4. Do you do custom knives per request?
I do, with some exceptions. If you're interested in a custom knife, please send me an email at hellbendersteelworks@gmail.com.

5. What is your return policy?
Given the unique nature of these handcrafted items, I’m unable to offer returns. However, I guarantee them against any manufacturing defects. If you find that your knife doesn't meet your expectations, please email me. Issues arising from improper use or care do not qualify as a manufacturing defect (i.e. a knife cracking after using it on a frozen item, or rusting after sitting in water). For complete details, please see the full terms and conditions page.
