Leopard is named for the striking spotted pattern of its handle which is crafted from Thuya burl, a wood native to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Renowned for its unique appearance and rich cedar-like fragrance, Thuya burl has been cherished for centuries, revered by ancient civilizations like the Greeks and Romans and even mentioned in the Bible (Revelation 18:12). The handle is further accented by a white G10 liner positioned between the wood and the steel for added contrast. The blade is razor sharp and made from a reclaimed bandsaw blade sourced from a Tennessee sawmill. With its 7.25" blade length, it offers excellent utility and strength, making it an ideal everyday kitchen knife. The handle has been carefully hand-sanded to a smooth, buttery finish, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all your daily kitchen tasks.
