Each component of Tiger Tail tells a personal story and holds a connection to my family. The rear handle piece, made from tigerwood, was repurposed from flooring gifted by my dad, while the front piece of Padauk wood came from my late uncle, a dedicated woodworker. The blade’s steel was salvaged from a Tennessee sawmill bandsaw blade, a meaningful gift from my brother-in-law. Adding to the uniqueness of this blade is the frog stamp- something that I rarely include on my knives anymore! Tiger Tail’s distinctive shape sets it apart, with a gently curved blade that excels at chopping and a sharp, piercing point for precision work. Compact, lightweight, and versatile, it’s ideal for everything from slicing fruit to prepping vegetables. Its ergonomic design ensures it fits comfortably in hand, making it a pleasure to use, even for extended kitchen prep sessions.
